i-med international grants (development of new talent)

i-med international grants are grants for short stays abroad to learn techniques and methods. Attendance at congresses and conferences is not included. The grants correspond to the current rates of the travel fees regulation (group 2a) for the stay (daily rates, no travel expenses).

Note: With regard to the age limits, child-raising periods are taken into account. Please provide proof of these if necessary.

Applications can be submitted online at any time via GAR:

- Tender specification (German/English)

Submission documents required:

  • Application form (generated in GAR)
  • Description of the project
  • Invitation from the host laboratory
  • Curriculum vitae of the applicant
  • List of publications of the applicant
  • Statement from the project manager or working group leader
  • Statement from the head of the organisational unit
  • Statement of costs and finance plan
  • Authorised/approved leave of absence
