PhD opportunities
We are always interested in offering enthusiastic and talented researchers who are interested in our research area the opportunity to conduct a PhD. Master thesis
We are currently accepting motivated Master and Bachelor students (chemistry, molecular biology, molecular medicine, biotechnology), who are interested in the field of biochemistry/molecular biology, human genetics or clinical analytics with a focus on metabolomics/lipidomics.
We offer you the possibility to gain skills in
- Cell culture (primary and immortal human cell lines), cloning, CRISPR/Cas9 knockouts, enzymatic activity assays
- Mass spectrometry (lipidomics or metabolomics), method development, clinical research
- Bioinformatic analysis of omics data
